             This is a large sentimental portrait of Jesus.  It shows the personal pain and sacrifice that surrounded our savior.  I started this upside down writing word and finished by turning it right side up and writing flesh.  The story of the “word becoming flesh” is a story of Christ coming down to earth to endure the pains of rejection so that we might be accepted into heaven. 

             This is my first design and my first attempt at a Jesus painting.  The painting in the picture is a part of my home collection, and I love having it in my room.  This calming portrait speaks of Christ’s acceptance and immense love for me every time I look at it.
