Who Am I ?

             Who am I?  In answering that question, I not only look at who I am but who God is.  I believe we are simple beings who can do complex and amazing things because of who God is, who He has been in my life, and the promises He has given me which give my life purpose. 

             I use brown, yellow, and red paint.  In depicting the sacrifice of Jesus I mostly make use of white, black, and red for their symbolic nature.  White representative of innocence (especially in the original pure white canvas) is corrupted with the dark and oppressive nature of black.  Because of the need for blood sacrifice because of sin since Old Testament times, I include the red to complete the picture as the innocent blood of Jesus covers our sins which was shed once for all who become like Jesus.
